i-ride.co.uk, exclusive distributor for the likes of Eddy Merckx, Fulcrum, Northwave, 3T, Prologo and many more, has announced its new B2B website is now live at i-ride.co.uk
The site is loaded with new features, with i-ride pinpointing the highlights for us, including a fully responsive site that resizes the page, moving menus, buttons and the like, dependent on whether you’re visiting on a tablet, smartphone or good old fashioned desktop PC or Mac.
The new B2B site also shows estimated free stock dates alongside unavailable items, plus has the capability to request documents to be automatically emailed, including invoices, statements and back-order reports with estimated due dates.
In addition the new B2B portal features full EPOS, stock, pricelist and image downloads available direct from the account area for trade customers so your business system can be fully updated easily. There is another feature that allows users to browse the website and add items to the basket with shop customers in-store whilst not being logged in, meaning only retail prices are displayed. After the customer leaves you can then sign-in using your B2B account to find that the items have been added to your existing trade basket, no more notes and pens needed.
Tom Marchment, marketing manager for i-ride.co.uk, said: “We hope everyone thinks the new site looks great but our real focus for the last 18 months was working with our dealers to develop a new Business-to-Business website that really meets their needs and utilises the latest technology opportunities to help our stockists drive business growth and inform their customers.”
Another key aim for the new site is on helping end consumers be more informed about products by having hi-res images and videos alongside products. Members of the public viewing a product are encouraged to search for a local stockist of that brand using their postcode. Each store then has a specific page with details and Premium stockists (who take several brands) receive enhanced pages with store opening times, logo, in-store imagery and even an introduction to staff members. Marchment explained: “Our aim is to drive business straight to our dealers doors and help the consumer feel comfortable visiting a new shop.”
Current main B2B login details for each customer will work on the new site, but if a shop encounters any difficulties they should contact i-ride on info@i-ride.co.uk or call 01444 243 000. Feedback and further improvement suggestions are welcome, the distributor said.
i-ride will be on hand at Core Bike trade show (January 26th to 29th) to guide users through the features of the new B2B and the firm also has several offers centred around the new site and Core Bike which they will be announcing on i-ride.co.uk next week.
