Pitched at mechanics or riders building their own bike, Muc-Off’s brand new Carbon Gripper is now in stock.
The Carbon Gripper creates friction between carbon fibre clamping areas and lowers clamping torque without causing fatigue, internal fractures or shortening component life, Muc-Off said. The carbon fibre assembly compound retails at £15.
Muc-Off’s new Bio Grease is also arriving in the market for the first time. Using a bicycle specific viscosity that provides ‘maximum protection with maximum efficiency’, the lower friction offers higher performance and lower energy consumption, the brand says. It also staves off corrosion and water ingress and is specifically blended for unique ‘low speed’ applications found on bicycle parts where reducing friction is paramount.
This new grease is fully biodegradable and free from any petroleum based oils. It retails at £10.
