Ian Morris is to resign as a director of Seventies to start his own BMX distribution company.

Morris to leave Seventies

Morris said: “After over 10 years of working with Seventies and Stuart Dawkins I have decided to leave the company to launch my own venture. I will resign from my position as a director of Seventies on March 28th.

"This is one of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make. This role has given me the opportunity to work with many great people and develop some great friendships throughout the BMX world. As a result these have been the most exciting years of my life. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Stuart and Seventies/Backyard all the best for the future.”

Stuart Dawkins said:

“In light of recent changes in the staff at Seventies; I would like to bring everyone up to date with what will be happening in the future. Federal Bikes will continue under Seventies, however there will be a lot of team changes that we will be announcing soon. Seventies will continue to distribute the current leading brands as well as promote and support BMX through the Backyard Jam, team riders and other contests.”
