Moore Large adds Tru-Tension to distribution portfolio

Moore Large has added Tru-Tension to its distribution portfolio.

“TruTension is a world-class manufacturer of cleaning and lubricant products for the bike industry,” said a statement. “Since successfully receiving investment on popular TV show Dragons’ Den, TruTension has invested heavily in product development to provide a unique range of world-first, innovative cleaning and lubricating solutions. From the hardest wearing, patent-pending Tungsten infused lubricants to Graphene-based cleaning products, all with amazing fragrances.

“Based in Bristol, the company concentrates on designing, developing, and manufacturing products within the UK whilst bringing a uniquely stand-out brand to stores and customers. TruTension has grown rapidly in popularity since launching its cycling range in 2019, which it will now expand on as a key brand to the Moore Large distribution portfolio.”

The full product range, including three display stand options, will be available to Moore Large trade customers from November 2021.

Moore Large’s brand director Adam Garner said: “We are delighted to be working with Tru Tension on an exclusive basis for the UK and Irish markets. Following the brand’s BBC Dragons’ Den investment, we’ve watched the product range and customer base grow to an exciting level. The team at Tru-Tension are dedicated to making the best and most innovative products in their respective categories.”

Chris Frappell, founder and managing director of Tru-Tension, added: “Both Touker and I are excited to be working with Moore Large as an exclusive distributor in the cycling market. Working together will fulfil the increasing retail interest seen over the past year, which has proven to provide an instant return to retail customers due to our standout branding and superior quality.

“As a manufacturer, we are dedicated to providing quality that goes above and beyond our competitors; this can be seen in the likes of our market-leading Tungsten infused lubricants, Gel Bike Cleaners, and the patented Grime Guard shield.”
