Mondraker has unveiled MS Racing’s custom World Championship 3D anaglyphic Summum Carbon RR race bikes.
For the 2021 UCI World Downhill Championships, New Zealand racer Brook MacDonald, Great Britain’s Laurie Greenland and Italian Eleonora Farina will all be competing on custom painted Summum Carbon RR bikes featuring a 3D anaglyphic design which when viewed through 3D glasses will display altered designs and ‘flip’ between graphic features.
The full carbon fibre front and rear end are linked with a one-piece carbon rocker link and riders will have the added benefit of being able to dial in their setups for race day using the latest MIND integrated suspension telemetry which, when partnered with the bikes Zero Suspension System, GPS and the My Mondraker App, can measure the suspension’s performance over 100 times a second.
“Racing and competing at the highest level of mountain biking are part of Mondraker’s DNA and the main drive behind the companies continued development process,” said a statement. “To celebrate this passion for racing and drive to create the highest performing products, hours of custom painting, cutting and hand masking have gone in to create individual, one-off designed versions of the latest flagship Summum Carbon RR frames for each team member so they are ready to take on the World Championship DH course at Val di Sole in style.”
The custom-painted Summum Carbon bikes can be viewed at the Mondraker pits during the World Championship weekend where visitors will be able to check out the team’s new matching t-shirts, grab an athlete card to collect rider signatures and pick up a pair of 3D glasses.
