Distributor Zyro believes newly launched flicks could help retailers in promoting indoor training to enthusiasts

Minoura releases Live Ride videos to assist trainer sales

Minoura has launched on Youtube and Vimeo a series of videos demonstrating how to make best use of the 2012 Live Ride trainers, which are for the first time able to interact with an iPhone app.

Dubbed live training, the app turns the phone into an affordable, powerful cycling computer. Combine the LiveTraining App (sold on the Apple App Store) and one of Minoura’s V-Series, LR Series, or MagTeqs Twin trainers and the customer gets everything they need to train like a pro at a fraction of the cost. Furthermore, the application allows the user to import GPS data from other Apps, Garmin devices or create your courses.

Paul Caswell, Minoura brand manager at Zyro commented: "These professionally produced videos have been a great help for our sales team getting the message across to retailers this autumn, now we are encouraging retailers to use them in store, or embed them on their shop websites to easily explain the new trainers and fantastic new Live Training app that delivers affordable and accurate power readings to your i-phone. A great way to improve sales."
