May was “best ever month” for Rutland Water Cycling

"It was our best ever, ever month," a happy Paul Archer of Rutland Water Cycling told bikebiz.co.uk.

"We’re the only thing open in the area and so cyclists are flocking here."

However, this bit of good news is tempered by the knowledge that not all of the cycle trade is recovering as fast.

"I have great sympathy for those IBDs and hire centres who are still affected by foot-and-mouth," said Archer.
