Maxgear takes on distribution for Champion

New York headquartered team wear brand Champion System has signed a deal appointing Maxgear Limited as exclusive UK distributor.

Champion System, which creates clothing for teams in cycling, triathlon, motorsports and rugby, are official technical kit supplier for the 2009 ITU World Triathlon Championships in Australia and the FBD Ras 9-day cycle race in Ireland. Champion also sponsors current Under-23 European Triathlon champ Yuliya Sapunova, and Spanish Triathlete Javier Gomez – recent winner of the ETU European Triathlon Championship.

Champion is now targeting growth in the UK and the deal with Cheshire-set Maxgear, online brand and retailer of cycle accessories and compression clothing. Maxgear’s MAX branded products are endorsed by a number of pro teams, including Nicole Cooke’s Vision 1 women’s racing team.
