Starting in July, Mavic will run its own distribution

Mavic to go direct to retail

Mavic has announced that it will launch a direct to retail service for the UK beginning in July 2008 for the 2009 season of product sales.

Mavic’s UK distribution service will focus on the complete Mavic hard and soft goods line, and will present retailers with a ‘Premium Mavic’ concept allowing key retailers to present, promote, stock and sell the complete Mavic product range.

Mavic is a service focused company and will concentrate on retailer training, creating a network that is able to maintain and support the technology based Mavic hard and soft goods ranges, further benefiting the customer and retailer. As a manufacturer the company will also be able to provide improved deliveries and availability further benefiting customers and retailers.

All Mavic products will be supported by the already established Mavic Service Centre in Surrey.

Chicken Cycle-Kit will continue to stock and supply Mavic products until the end of the 2008 range.

Mavic UK and the Mavic Service Centre will be based in Frimley, Surrey at Amer Sports UK new head quarters.

Further information will be made available in June, in the mean time any questions should be directed to Alex Coventry.
