After six years service, Brown looking to further career in business development

Mark Brown moving on from ACT

After six years service and having assisted the ACT in doubling its size in the past three years, Mark Brown is soon to leave the organisation.

Brown plans to further his career in business development. The ACT board said of Brown’s service: “Mark Brown was highly instrumental in the refashioning of ACT from a traditional club-like trade body into a contemporary business oriented organisation. We are immensely grateful for all that he has achieved at the ACT, which he leaves in a far stronger position than when he arrived and we are confident that his efforts will be further enhanced by the team he leaves behind.”

Over 1,400 retailers, suppliers and ancillary businesses are now subscribing to ActSmart. This figure is near double of that just three years ago.

Meanwhile, four new roles have been added to the ACT team – Jonathan Harrison, Tony Jones, Katie Reed and Donna Norman. These appointments strengthen the marketing, business development, subscriber support and accounts departments, respectively.
