London Mayor dodges death on cycle ride

Boris Johnson, his transport advisor and TfL’s commisioner narrowly missed a collision with an out of control truck at the weekend, giving the Mayor a first hand look at the potential dangers of cycling on London’s roads.

CCTV of the incident, in which the trucks rear door swings open dragging a car along with it, is now doing the rounds on the web.

Transport advsor Kulveer Ranger is said to be particularly shaken by the incident having come just inches from being clipped in the collision.

At the time of the incident, the trio were said to be scouting new cycle routes in East London.
