Website calls on user suggestions of where to install cycle parking in city. LCC relays feedback to decision makers

LCC launches London cycle parking website

The London Cycling Campaign has launched a website calling on cyclists to post their views on locations in the city where cycle parking is direly needed.

Cycleparking4london.org.uk maps out many current parking hotspots and, via a feedback form and postcode locator, blackspots can be flagged up. The London Cycling Campaign will then analyse feedback and lean on the appropriate local authority to install parking for bikes.

Cyclehoop, the firm which has converted many of Camden’s lamposts into cycle parking spots, has been nominated for a London Cycling Campaign award for its efforts to improve parking in the city. The LCC his aiming to influence the installation of a further 100,000 cycle parking spots across the capital.
