P&A from Ben Cooper's Glasgow IBD-cum-supplier business is now visible online. The products include SON hub dynamos, Heinzmann motors and Pantour hubs. And the micro-site also includes a dead useful Windows-specific gear calculation prog.

Kinetics launches trade-only website for its

"I’ve launched a trade micro-site for Kinetics – so the trade can get hold of the weird parts we import and stock," said Cooper.

The site is at http://www.kinetics-online.co.uk/trade/

The passwords are – ahem – presta and enter.

The products are:

SON Hub Dynamos: "The best dynamos in the world – period! Made by a small and very fanatical German manufacturer, they have very low drag and are extremely reliable."

Heinzmann Motors (and bikes): "Electric motors for bikes – probably the best available and easy to fit. Complete bikes are also available. Dealer restrictions apply…"

Pantour Hubs: "Suspension hubs for any bike. Just spoke this hub into the wheel for a very plush ride. They soak up road vibration very well, and are much lighter than suspension forks."

Torque Couplings: "For expert framebuilders only! Fit to any steel frame to allow it to split in the middle – also works on tandems."

GEAR CALC PROG

The latest version of Cooper’s gear calculation program is free, and Windows-based. It calculates gear ratios for all systems in production, claims Cooper. It has a graphical output so you can see how the gears lay out and overlap.

It’s downloadable from:
