Kinesis UK issue update on Racelight T carbon fork recall

Kinesis UK update fork recall

Kinesis UK has issued an update on its recalled Racelight T carbon forks.

The company has stated that an issue with the forks could lead to a possibility of bonding failure between fork crown and steerer tube resulting in a loss of control, which may result in serious injury.

Kinesis UK have reported two current cases in which the forks have split and potentially caused injury.

The full list of models affected include the Full Carbon Racelight T (RT) – 2003/2005, the Racelight T Full Carbon – 2006, the 12K Racelight T – 2007/2009 and the 12K – 2009.

If your fork has the characteristics below and any of the icons as pictured on this page, your fork is affected by this recall.
