Established in 1973, Oxford Products Ltd (OXFORD) is a leading global supplier of motorcycle and bicycle products. The company is also the UK’s largest distributor of aftermarket two-wheeler products and enjoys strong continuous growth thanks to sustained investment in its 160 people, 20,000 products and 145,000 sq ft infrastructure. 

Recent investments include a new R&D facility to house our 40-strong product team and a 24,000 sq ft extension to our distribution centre in Oxfordshire. The company is geared up for growth!

OXFORD is also one of the fastest growing cycle parts and accessories distribution businesses in the UK with average growth in the last three years of 25% per annum. Our approach to working with and partnering IBDs is quickly building strong relationships and profitable growth for both parties as we continue to back high street retail.

With a dedicated R&D Centre in the UK and a powerful global manufacturing base, our product development is continually gaining momentum, back up with merchandising systems and a shopfitting service which are unrivalled in the cycle industry. In addition to a vast range of OXFORD accessories and workshop essentials, we also offer four exclusive high end performance brands in ACROS, G Form, Kali and Sigma with more to come in 2023. 

The role

As we celebrate our 50th year in business, we wish to appoint a talented and energetic Area Sales Manager for Northern England, to rapidly develop our business in the independent cycle trade. 

Experience in the role would be an advantage, but more important is an understanding of the cycle industry and a passion for the role. The ideal candidate will be based in the area and be able to demonstrate:

  • a history of sales success
  • excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
  • self-discipline, self-motivation and a determination to succeed. 
  • a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • a keen interest in cycling.
