Whilst we stock products that cater for every cyclist from commuters to enduro racers, our primary focus is the more adventurous side of cycling, whether it be self-supported endurance events, bikepacking, cycle touring or gravel racing.\r\n\r\nThe Role\r\n\r\nThe role of Marketing Coordinator is to help increase the exposure of all brands within the Lyon Cycle portfolio to both the consumer and trade through various marketing channels. Working closely with brand management to help achieve sales targets by promoting sell-through, this is a multifaceted role covering B2B & B2C marketing, PR and trade events. The successful candidate will also coordinate and help to maintain Lyon Cycle\u2019s demo product, including demo bikes.\r\n\r\nWe are looking for an outgoing and motivated person with a professional outlook and a creative marketing flair to help drive our cycle business.\r\n\r\nThe job requires someone who is equally comfortable being customer facing as well as working autonomously carrying out day to day administrative marketing functions.\r\n\r\nWhilst this role is predominantly office based, some travel and work away from home will be required.\r\n\r\nThe Job Will Involve\r\n\r\n \tWorking closely with brand management to create and execute marketing plans for all brands within Lyon\u2019s cycle portfolio\r\n \tIncreasing the exposure of Lyon Equipment within the trade through traditional advertising and editorial coverage\r\n \tLiaison with media partners to ensure maximum editorial coverage of our portfolio\r\n \tPlanning, coordination and attendance of industry events\r\n \tCollaborative marketing with Lyon Cycle retail customers and industry partners\r\n \tCreating regular, targeted email campaigns to Lyon Cycle retail customers with curated, engaging content\r\n \tCoordination of sponsored athletes and brand ambassadors\r\n \tContent creation, both independently and through liaison with colleagues or creative agencies\r\n \tRunning targeted social media campaigns for both Lyon Cycle and the brands within its portfolio\r\n \tEnabling product highlights on our B2B platform to promote product sell-in and ensuring accuracy of product information\r\n \tParticipation at regular sales meetings at Head Office and occasional supplier visits\r\n \tWorking alongside brand management to devise creative in-store POS solutions\r\n \tCoordination and maintenance of Lyon Cycle\u2019s demo products\r\n\r\nThe Person We Seek Will Meet The Following Criteria\r\n\r\n \tHave relevant professional marketing experience\r\n \tHave a genuine passion for cycling and a technical understanding of our product portfolio\r\n \tBe self-motivated, able to work autonomously and as part of a team\r\n \tHave a confident and outgoing manner with excellent interpersonal skills\r\n \tStrong written communication skills and IT skillset\r\n \tEnjoy learning and development\r\n \tBe comfortable working on bicycles\r\n \tHold a current full car driving licence (preferably clean) and a current passport\r\n\r\nThe following qualities would be desirable but are not essential:\r\n\r\n \tBe educated to degree level\r\n \tHave a strong personal interest in the \u201cadventure\u201d segment of the industry\r\n \tOperational knowledge of creative suites\r\n \tHave a basic understanding of photography and videography\r\n \tCytech qualifed\r\n\r\nHours Of Work\r\n\r\nThis is a full time position which on average equates to 37.5 hours a week.
