Cyclehoop creates innovative cycle parking and infrastructure for everyone. We design, install, rent and maintain our award winning range of products, from cycle shelters and hubs to accessories, racks and stands. Our team cares about sustainable transport and is dedicated to making our cities healthier and happier places to live.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to provide first fix maintenance services. You’ll spend your days cycling across London on our E Bullitt cargo bike, providing scheduled and reactive assessment, repairs and maintenance to our award winning products. A big part of this will be carrying out planned maintenance on our well-loved Bikehangars®.

Our ideal operative has a positive outgoing attitude, is keen to learn and very much a team player. Cycling is second nature to you and it’s a personal passion. You have a good mechanical background and are capable of efficiently following instructions to build or rebuild our product range. Our headquarters is in Lower Sydenham, South London and you will be required to travel here. Some maintenance work will also be required in the workshop.

This is an opportunity to develop your maintenance skills and work in one of the UK’s most innovative cycle parking companies.

Main responsibilities

  • Accurately assess repair requirements of Cyclehoop products.
  • Efficiently carry out all possible on-site repairs, and safely.
  • Liaise with the Cyclehoop team to book additional resources in a friendly way.
  • Responsibly manage your own stock levels and tools.


  • Good manual skills and experience using power tools.
  • Physically fit, strong and able to handle heavy items.
  • Comfortable with autonomous working.
  • Based in London, keen to commute to Sydenham daily.
  • Confident and interested to cycle on London roads.
  • Happy to occasionally work out of hours, including public holidays and weekend.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety and able to practice safe working methods.
  • Adaptable, comes up with creative solutions to solve problems.


  • Experience in construction or street furniture installation.
  • CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • Clean Full UK driving license, able to drive our company vans.

Salary: £22984 /year Pro rata

Job Type: Part time 16-32 Hrs per week

Salary: £11.05PH
