Cycle Mechanic – Full Time

Twelve50 Bikes is a service driven, independent bike shop in Frodsham, Cheshire. 

We stock Mountain, Road, Gravel and E-Bikes from Santa Cruz, Cube, Whyte and Merida alongside a comprehensive range of parts, accessories and clothing.

The Job

We have an opportunity for a bicycle mechanic to join our workshop. It’s a busy environment and you’ll be working on a variety of bikes, from general servicing, new bike PDI’s to custom builds. You will also be communicating with the customer to ensure they are kept informed and expectations are met. 

This is a full time position. 

Requirements

• Previous bicycle workshop experience is a must.
• The applicant must be self motivated, organised and pride themselves on producing work to a high standard.  
• A can-do attitude and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy workshop. 
• You must have a polite manner and an understanding of the importance of good customer service. 
• Qualification to Cytech levels 2 and 3 would be preferable, however, equal consideration will be given to a time served mechanic who can demonstrate quality and skill in the workshop.
• We work with a large number of E-bikes. Experience of working with Bosch and Shimano systems will be an advantage. 
• Knowledge of MTB suspension set up and servicing.  
• Good product knowledge and keeping up to date with new industry standards are a must.
