The Role

Do you have a passion for cycling and have experience in ecommerce management? ACTIV Cycles (Kent’s premier cycling store) have ambitious growth plans for 2023 and are looking to hire a full-time ecommerce manager to take their ecommerce business to the next level.

Joining at an exciting time, with strong YoY growth and a newly launched Ecommerce platform (Citrus Lime) you have the unique opportunity to help scale the ecommerce part of the ACTIV Cycles business, and put in motion growth strategies.

The E-commerce Manager will lead on the company E-commerce strategy, driving performance via this channel and be the internal expert on E-commerce and Conversion.


  • Drive and increase eCommerce revenue
  • Collaborate with the ACTIV team of cycling experts to create timely and relevant seasonal campaigns
  • Own acquisition channel management (Google Shopping / Google Ads)
  • Partner with our Brand Marketing agency to compound campaign efforts and build customer trust – maximising CLV
  • Creating, implementing and scaling CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) programs, having a strong customer centric approach to optimisation and leveraging your added experience or understanding of UX, UI and digital design for conversion best practices;
  • Ensure that all online customer queries are dealt with in a timely manner and an excellent customer experience across the customer lifecycle
  • Manage CRM (MailChimp)
  • Manage all aspects of site quality to ensure product uniformity and high quality CX
  • Own all integrations such as CRM, Analytics and POS to be the go to for any issues with the ecommerce experience


  • Passion for cycling
  • 2+ years e-commerce experience
  • Hands-on experience in management of Google Shopping / Google Ads Campaigns
  • Experience in managing CRM platform automation
  • Email Marketing Automation Configuration
  • Broad digital marketing skillset (SEO/Inbound Marketing/Paid Acquisition/Social Media)
  • Passionate about digital marketing and e-commerce – acting as the internal champion for all things digital marketing and ecommerce
  • Completely literate with web metrics;
  • Excellent with numbers and confident in using spreadsheets for reporting;
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfortable with rolling up their sleeves, and a team mentality
  • Capable of managing own workload and deadlines across multiple workstreams at any one time

Base salary

£30,000/yr – £35,000/yr
