Bike Magic is to be led by James McKnight, who was appointed editor this week.
Despite his youth, McKnight has many years experience in mountain bike journalism. He has contributed to magazines, written books and most recently edited The Dirt 100. As well as having well-honed journalism skills, he has also spent some seasons in the world’s best resorts as a mountain bike guide.
Based in the Monmouth office, McKnight will work alongside the Dirt team to help build an office where mountain bike knowledge and skills will be in abundance. This office has the benefit of enabling the team to ride out into the nearby surroundings of the Forest of Dean.
McKnight is due to start his new role in London for the first few days from the 26th November where acting editor John Stevenson will hand over all the reigns. Factory Media are to continue working with Stevenson.
