Brand's expanding bike care range will be available to bike shops through Ison

Ison distribution takes on Purple Harry

Cycle care brand Purple Harry will now be available in cycle shops across the UK through a new distribution agreement with Ison Distribution.

Formed in 2010, Purple Harry are best known for its Bike Floss, a simple bike cleaning product that can be used to clean difficult-to-get-to nooks and crannies of the bike. Since launching Bike Floss, the range has grown with a Cleaner/Degreaser, Bike Maintenance Spray, Frame Polish, Helmet and Glove Sanitiser, Wet and Dry Chain Lubes. They have also introduced a Wash and Polish Mitt and a special bike cleaning Super Sponge. Products are made in Britain and sprays are non-aerosol, using pump action triggers.

Olympic and Commonwealth Triathlon Champions the Brownlee Brothers are Brand Ambassadors for Purple Harry and have gone on to invest in the business.

Purple Harry have so far sold its products online. The brand’s Dean Perry said: “We are delighted that Ison Distribution are our UK distribution Partners. They show a good pedigree within the cycling sector for quality products and we are looking forward to the ongoing partnership.’’

Purple Harry has been active in events in the road, sportive and triathlon markets. They are official product suppliers to the Tour of Britain, the Tour Series and the Women’s Tour, while the domestic Starley-Primal road team, including National Criterium Champion Eileen Roe, have used Purple Harry this season. In addition they have sponsored the ‘Hot Chillee Ride Captains’ in events such as Alpine Challenge, London to Paris and the Cape Rouleur.

In addition to the bike care products, Purple Harry has just launched their first three Rider Care lines, with a Muscle Warming Cream, a Muscle Cooling Gel and an Anti Chafing Chamois Cream, all in convenient dispensers.
