An organised gang of thieves targetted Harry Hall Cycles in Manchester on Sunday, stealing 70 MTBs and top-name BMXes. Owner Graham Hall is asking IBDs, especially those in the North, to be on the lookout if offered second-hand bargains from Specialized or Trek.

Harry Hall’s turned over; £40k in MTBs are taken

Hall said all the frame numbers of the stolen bikes have been logged and that any IBDs being offered bikes for sale in the next few days should be wary.

The stolen bikes include Specialized Epics, Enduro, Stumpjumpers, Rockhoppers and Hardrocks, as well as many Trek hard-tails.

BMX bikes stolen include models from Hoffman, Nirve, Felt, and Mongoose.

A police rad on a house in Manchester today recovered five of the bikes, but the rest remain missing.
