Following the surprise news that Pinarello bikes will be available from Halfords, the retailer has now taken stock of a limited range from the brand.
From Saturday (February 23rd) a nine cycle range became available, comprising six road and three city bikes.
Selected superstores are holding Pinarello stock, including new stores in Chingford, Nuneaton and Farnborough. The stores have newly deigned cycle displays with lifestyle point of sale displays depicting cycles in action. Customers nationwide can purchase for home delivery via www.halfords.com.
Halfords said: "Halfords online premium bike build team and the three new stores stocking Pinarello are home to Halfords most experienced cycle mechanics, trained in conjunction with Pinarello."
The retailer added that since January’s announcement, it has been working with Pinarello on specialist colleague training.
The nine bike range offers pricepoints from £599.99 (for the junior FP Zero road bike) up to £2,549.99, for the FPQuattro.
Other bikes in the range include the carbon long distance/sportive aimed ROKH (£2,549.99), the full carbon road bike FPDye (£2,349.99), the FPUno Carbon Veloce road bike (£1999.99) and the FPUno Aluminium Tiagra (£1,399.00).
The line-up also features the Treviso aluminium hybrid bike (£999), the Catena Vintage road bike (£799.99) and the new urban single speed "Only the Brave" (£799.99).
