Big H placed 49th among the nation's biggest e-tailers

Halfords.com among Hitwise top 50 e-tailers

Halfords.com ranks 49th in IMRG-HitWise’s ‘Hot Shops’ list, which ranks by popularity, as indicated by visits, the Top 100 UK e-tailers.

Predictably, Amazon UK holds the top spot, which may be of some concern to cycle retailers selling brands also sold on the hit shopping site.

Meanwhile, John Lewis appears in 28th spot. The retailer is also beginning to take an interest in the bicycle market.

Of others selling bicycles and accessories, Argos grabbed second spot in the most visited e-tailer ranks.

"With more than £50 billion worth of online sales at stake this year, and almost all of retail growth accounted for by the online sector, if a brand is not on the list, you probably have to worry about its future – so being in the Top 100 is an acolade worth striving for. Cross-border trading is the latest online shopping trend that is taking off, as UK retailers seek to exploit the weak pound’s attractiveness to overseas shoppers," commented IMRG’s CEO, James Roper.
