GT launches “Fun Is Serious Business” user-generated-content comp

GT Bicycles has launched a user-generated-content promo called "Fun Is Serious Business".

A statement from the Dorel-owned firm said the campaign "focuses on the real reason everyone rides: pure, simple, fun."

GT is asking consumers to post photos, vidoes and other content using the hashtag #SRSLYFun. This will be showcased on a dedicated website, FunIsSeriousBusiness.com.

Submissions will be judged in 2017 by a panel of GT athletes for a chance to win prizes. GT’s global roster of Factory Racing athletes, BMX riders and brand ambassadors, ranging from mountain bike legends Hans Rey and Tyler McCaul, to X-Games superstar Ronnie Renner among others, will expand the reach of Fun Is Serious Business to their audiences by incorporating #SRSLYFun into their social content. Additionally, the brand’s newly formed GT Coalition will also get involved.
