There was a big blurb on biking in Saturdays Weekend section of The Times. Three quarters of a page was devoted to the whats, wheres, and whys of the National Cycle Network

Good Times ahead for cycling

And this wont be the last big mention, The Times are one of the headline sponsors of Ride the Net, the launch festivities for the Network.

The Thunderer will be covering many different aspects of the Network arts and sculpture, impact on local communities, long-distance route riding as well as producing a full supplement on cycling in June.

Saturdays article was written by an independent journalist and featured an interview with John Grimshaw, a box-out on getting further information on Sustrans and cycling as well as a competition for a family to be kitted out with bikes from Giant.

Watch out in The Times for regular articles in the same positive vein…
