Gongs for grass roots workers

In the next issue of BicycleBusiness there’s a 4000-word behemoth of an article profiling some of the UK cycle trade’s key grass-roots activists, folk who work tirelessly on the behalf of cycling, and often with little reward.

These people deserve recognition from not just the trade but society at large.

The British honours system is now more open than ever before to nominations from us mere mortals so here’s how to go about putting some names in the hat…

According to the Cabinet Office "individuals may be nominated for an honour by anyone, and we encourage neighbours, work colleagues etc to put forward those they admire for their achievements. Nominations must be made on the form designed for this purpose."
