Giro has pocketed another Eurobike Award, this time for the launch of its fully reflective Republic LX shoe.
Much like Proviz’s sell-out Reflect product, Giro’s new shoe will fully illuminate when struck by headlights, though remain a stylish shade of grey during daylight hours.
The laced shoe offers a microsuede heel for added comfort, with stiff injected nylon outsole featuring a replaceable high-traction walking pad at the base.
Pre Eurobike Giro also announced additions to the clothing portfolio, most noticably the Chrono Series.
Also launched at Eurobike, female cyclists are to benefit from the addition of an Empire, Giro’s flagship shoe. Built with the same material and tech, the Empire W ACC is the first high-end lace up shoe in the women’s catalogue for Giro.
