Giant opens fourth store in Twickenham

Giant has increased the number of its retail outlets with the opening of a fourth shop in Twickenham, West London.

Based on Heath Road High Street, the Giant brand store follows outlets in Liverpool, Cambridge and Bristol.

Giant UK MD Ian Beasant enthused: “We are pleased to be opening the doors to our fourth brand store; we really hope that this store provides a service to the local community helping get more people out of cars and onto bikes.

Beasant revealed that Giant’s first store in the capital would be followed by others up and down the country in key locations. He said: “We have more stores planned, we are always looking for opportunities to bring cycling to congested towns and cities.”

Bruce Berkley, Store Manager said “We are really excited about the new store; we think the area is ready for a new cycling experience and with Giant we genuinely believe we have something for all.”

UPDATE: Giant has asked BikeBiz to add that its new Twickenham store is being run by existing independent bicycle dealer Bruce Berkley.
