Giant has released details of new trail bike, Talon. The UK-specific range of hardtail mountain bikes are aimed at the increasing number of users frequenting trail centres.
Featuring a high quality lightweight Fluid Formed AluxX Aluminium frame, the range includes seven bikes (five gents and two ladies) that boast WTB saddles, Kenda Nevegal tyres, riser bars with short stems and disc brakes.
The Talon news follows reports of another line of road bikes to join the Giant stable – Rabobank editions of the TCR Advanced and TCR Advanced SL.
The UK will receive limited numbers of the new bikes, which will come in Rabobank replica graphics.
The TCR Advanced SL Rabobank features precision handcrafted SL-grade Composite frame with integrated seat post. The SL also includes a PowerCore bottom bracket/chain stay area for pedalling stiffness and efficiency.
The TCR Advanced Rabobank shares the same frame as the 2009 TCR Advanced 3, with oversized PowerCore bottom bracket chainstay area and OverDrive headtube/steerer tube.
