VOS Media and Future Publishing have announced a three year media partnership between The London Bike Show and Future’s portfolio of cycling magazines and websites.
The deal will involved a pre-show advertising schedule and extensive editorial support to include Mountain Biking UK, What Mountain Bike, Cycling Plus, Triathlon Plus, BikeRadar.com and CyclingNews.com.
Earlier this week Future announced it was cancelling its own cycle show, BikeRadarLive which was this year staged at Brand’s Hatch, attracting close to 8,500 visitors, according to Future.
The London Bike Show will place place at ExCeL London from 13-16 January 2011. The show takes place at the same time as The London International Boat Show and The Outdoors Show.
The combined audiences of these shows will bring over 100,000 visitors to ExCeL over the course of the four days, said a statement from VOS Media. Tickets will include entry to all three shows. VOS Media describes this combination as a "sports and leisure Super Show."
The London Bike Show Manager, Geraldine Reeve said: “The support of the world’s number one cycling publisher will ensure the success of The London Bike Show as it brings a new cycling experience to the nation’s capital.”
Future Publishing’s Group Publisher, Katherine Raderecht said: “The London Bike Show is set to become London’s flagship event for cycling and the start of the cycling year for the UK as a whole. We are very excited to be working in partnership with the VOS Media team who always bring a fresh and innovative approach to event management and are sure to create a compelling visitor experience and provide exhibitors with the best possible environment in which to promote their products and services.”
Madison is one of the cornerstone exhibitors of the London Bike Show.
In 2011, the Cycle Show, currently taking place at Earls Court in London, will relocate to Birmingham NEC.
