Future Publishing has bolstered its senior commercial team with the appointment of Scott Longstaff as commercial director for the sports portfolio.
Longstaff will report to publishing director Peter Stothard with the responsibilty for managing the sports advertising team and overseeing the commercial development of Future’s multi-platform sports portfolio.
Longstaff, who previously worked on Future’s in-house creative solutions team (which has worked with Garmin, Madison and Colnago), replaces Sean Igoe, who is moving to Future’s sports portfolio.
Stothard said: "Scott brings a wealth of experience to the Sports division. He’s worked with a number of commercial partners across our business, helping develop their marketing strategies and devising creative marketing solutions to meet their needs.
"I’m confident that Scott will add a great deal to the division and work closely with our partners to maximise the commercial opportunities when working with us."
