Bicycle The Film is shaping up to being a fascinating documentary, & there's still a chance for you to get involved.

From Aardman to the velodrome: Bicycle doc has cycling covered

The award-winning production crew behind Bicycle The Film are still hard at work interviewing bike characters. The documentary has its premiere in July.

The latest interviewees include John Grimshaw, founder of Sustrans; Melissa Henry, the marketing director at Sustrans; George Ferguson, mayor of Bristol (check out his parking spot); David Sproxton from Aardman Animation; Sir Dave Brailsford and Sir Chris Boardman.

Previous interviewees include bike design guru Mike Burrows; MTB guru Gary Fisher and Sir Chris Hoy.

"I am excited to see a documentary being made about the bicycle’s history and impact in Britain," said Sir Chris.

There’s less than two weeks left on the film’s phase two crowd funding campaign. New funding perks include gaining rights to screen the documentary in bike cafes or bike shops (with a spot on the film’s credits, too) and there are also a few remaining sponsorship slots.
