British children’s cycling brand Frog Bikes has announced the release of two brand new models for beginners in the range.
The Tadpole Mini is appropriate for children of around one to two years in age. It features a smaller lightweight frame that is specifically designed to fit the cycling position of younger riders. A pair of pneumatic tyres improves comfort and user stamina whilst maintaining a similar feel to bigger pedal bikes. The bike also features a rear hand brake and a safety steering lock which that prevents oversteer and resulting accidents.
The 52 Single Speed is designed to cater to riders of around five to six years in age. It is designed to be an ideal first pedal bike and puts emphasis on stability instead of changing gears. Sporting easy reach brakes and patented Frog cranks, the 52 Single also focuses on safety and ease of use.
