Advanced road helmet features Temple Protection and Advanced Rollsys System

Flash Orange Lazer Z1 helmets now in stock

Lazer and Madison have confirmed the brand new Z1 helmets in Flash Orange are now in-stock and available for the UK and Ireland market.

Lazer said the Z1 is its most advanced road helmet to date featuring technologies such as T-Pro (Temple Protection) and ARS (Advanced Rollsys Stystem). The Flash Orange colourway is already a favourite across the Lazer range, we’re told, and is set to be a popular choice for the Z1.

The Madison Genesis road race have been making use of the new Flash Orange Z1. The team, recently crowned champions of the 2015 Pearl Izumi Tour Series, have showcased the new lid through the stages of the Tour de Yorkshire, in Ireland at the An Post Rás and even as far as Norway in the Tour des Fjords. With vast amounts of television coverage from the UK peloton, the helmets available now are exactly the same items as used by the team.

“As a bike rider when it comes to a helmet we look for three major things: protection, comfort and visibility," said Mark McNally, Madison Genesis team rider. "In a day and age when black is a common colour, our orange helmets help us stand out and be seen which adds to our safety and also helps us feel comfortable whether we’re training on the roads or looking for a team mate in a 200 man peloton.”

The Z1 is available in ten different colours and weighs 225 grams (medium). It includes a free Aeroshell and has a RRP of £199.99.
