Bike brand no longer part of distributors portfolio from August

Fisher and Norco part ways

Fisher Outdoor Leisure and Norco Bicycles are parting ways as of August 1st 2011.

The companies are parting on good terms and Fisher will continue to provide support for the Norco brand and dealer network until a new distributor is named this summer.

“Norco makes great bikes and we have really enjoyed working with the team at Norco,” commented Mike Cook, sales and marketing director at Fisher. “However, we have had to make the difficult decision to stop distributing the brand.

“We wish Norco continued success in the UK market and will work diligently to ensure a smooth transition for our dealers and Norco consumers.”

Skip Swain, VP of sales and marketing at Norco, thanked the distributor for its efforts at growing the Norco brand in the UK. “They have done a very commendable job in a short period of time.”

Norco is close to securing a new UK distributor, it was revealed. Swain said: “We are very close to finalising Norco’s future direction in the UK and will be making this announcement to the trade this summer.”
