Farrelly Atkinson brings Simon Stansfield on board

Specialist cycling creative agency Farrelly Atkinson has bolstered its team with the addition of Simon Stansfield, who will spearhead the growth of its customer publishing arm F-At Media.

The agency said that with cyclists now able to read news, reviews and features on a range of platforms – from PCs to smartphones and traditional print media – customers are more informed than ever. According to the firm, it’s vital that the industry embraces the opportunity to engage customers wherever possible.

F-At Media said: "Integrating these platforms is the key to engaging the audience at the time and place of their choice. With content marketing second only to internet advertising in growth in the media industry, the time is right for progressive companies to take advantage of F-At Media’s experience and skills to grow their market penetration."

Stansfield’s 25 years’ experience in media includes time spent at major UK publishers such as Dennis and Future and he has launched or published over 30 magazines in a dozen different markets. It was this broad experience that appealed to F-At.

“When we met up, it was obvious that Simon’s way of working and experience complemented ours, so teaming up seemed a natural progression," said F-At director Tony Farrelly. "Our in-depth knowledge of cycling and expert digital skills, allied to Simon’s senior publishing experience, means that F-At Media now offers the most knowledgeable creative service to the UK cycling industry.”
