Fabric has significantly expanded its offerings for 2017 include a new range of lights with built in features such as brake lighting, as well as a range of smooth grips and ergonomic multi-tools built to complement the existing Chamber tool.
“Core to the Fabric DNA is our commitment to new manufacturing techniques, innovation and fresh thinking to make better products for cyclists,” said Nick Larsen, General Manager of Fabric. “We’ve applied our innovative approach to design in completely new categories while also expanding our range of the world’s most advanced saddles. The result is a quality range that makes Fabric a much more complete parts and accessories company which is good for both cyclists and retailers.”
Lights
The new line of lights from Fabric, offers four options with distinct looks and advanced functions. The entire range is waterproof, can be mounted in multiple positions and improves functionality with the addition of LED strips that provide a long-burn front or rear light. The range opening FL30 Rear features a brake light, while the top of the range FL500 uses a unique dial to switch between modes and beam type.
Tools
Following the success of the unique Chamber tool, Fabric has expanded further with the creation of four aluminium-bodied, high-quality tools. The Six is lightweight, fitting in the smallest of pockets, and contains the key tools needed on the road.
Inflation
All pumps have retractable heads, making access easier and ensuring no more snapped valves. A bespoke-designed smart head works across both Presta and Schrader valves.
Saddles
Fabric continues to develop advanced saddles, with a host of new seats. The first in a planned range of female-specific saddles is a 155mm width, comfortable gel version of the Scoop saddle. The award winning ‘Line’ pressure relief saddle launchesin 142mm width to complement the 134mm width, while a custom carbon rail version of the Tri saddle expands the Tri range to cater for all levels of triathlon and TT cyclist.
Grips
The durable, tacky and padded nature of medical grade silicone make it a material of choice for Fabric. New lock on silicone grips, lock on ergo grips and lock on semi-ergo grips vastly expand the range for the off road rider and commuter.
Cage-less Waterbottles
The new products utilise Fabric’s patented cage-less technology. In addition to larger 750ml cage-less bottles, expect to see a range of double-wall insulated bottles, leisure-focused sport bottles and a new Tool keg, which uses the same cage-less system to securely hold tools, snacks and tubes on the bike.
Saddles, grips, cage-less bottles and tape from the new range will be available from late July 2016, with lights, pumps and tools following in late summer/fall 2016.
