He’s now in charge of rebuilding a dealer base for Muddy Fox, and rebuilding its brand profile too.
"The brand was allowed to go stagnant. We’ll build it up again," Wimpory told bikebiz.co.uk.
"The brand complements Universal’s existing product portfolio."
The new range – due for launch "in the near future", probably in the Autumn – will be "pitched at the middle to top end," said Wimpory.
