More exhibitor details for the Harrogate and Silverstone shows in January

Evolution, Velocite and Whackjob heading to the Bike Place

January’s The Bike Place show will be the first UK appearance for Velocite and Whackjob, while Red Cloud will also showcase its dealer marketing support packages for the first time.

Velocite will display its carbon road bikes, components and wheels as well as their alloy Selene road bike, Flux carbon MTB and a few surprises to be announced nearer the time.

Whackjob, a new name in MTB clothing, will display its range of bamboo fibred trail tees and a new as yet unveiled range of hoodies and technical trail jerseys.

“Having visited The Bike Place last year I was really impressed with the set up and first year attendance,” said Red Cloud’s Mark Almond.

“Since then I have received some great feedback from those who both exhibited and attended the show so I was very keen to offer it as an option for my clients. Both Velocite and Whackjob are seeking retail partners and I firmly believe that once the retailers experience the ranges, they will very much like what they see.

“Both brands offer strong margins and the very highest performance and visual appeal. I look forward to meeting everyone at the show. Please pop along and see us.”

Evolution
Evolution Imports will also exhibit at The Bike Place. New products the firm will showcase include Tomac frames, Liteville frames and Carbon-Ti components and Evo wheels. Evolution will also exhibit new-to-the-UK Liteville at the show – the Germany-based frame division of Syntace components.

The full range of Chris King components, including headsets, bottom brackets and Hubs will be on the Evolution stand too.

Evolution told BikeBiz: “We’ll have Carbon Ti’s Italian seat collars, wheel QR’s and chainrings (in titanium and Carbon with alloy teeth). There will also be Tomac’s frames with lifetime warranty carbon and alloy full sus and hardtail frames, all with a nice finish. Evo wheels based on King hubs with HED, Reynolds carbon road rims DT and Stan’s rims…and more. It’s a must for dealers.”

The Bike Place show runs from 26th-27th January at the Pavilions of Harrogate and 29th-30th January at the Silverstone Race Circuit.
