The 10th Eurobike in Friedrichshafen was attended by 20 357 trade visitors from 56 countries. In 2000 it was 19 500 visitors from 47 countries

Eurobike sets new visitor record

And on the public day, 20 000 consumers attended.

"With this end result entirely new perspectives are opened up for Eurobike on the new exhibition site," said Eurobike CEO Rolf Mohne.

"Many exhibitors were very impressed on viewing the new exhibition site, where the Eurobike 2002 will take place, which they believed promised a great deal for all future tradeshows."

There were 684 exhibiting companies from 30 countries at this year’s Eurobike, although there were notable exeptions such as Shimano and Giant, former Eurobike stalwarts.

Next year’s show will take place August 29th to September 1st 2002.
