But, reveals notice in today's Official Journal, the measures against China remain and will be subject to a lengthy review

EU anti-dumping measures dropped against Vietnam

Following an official complaint from the Paris-based European Bicycle Manufacturers’ Association (EBMA), the European Commission has initiated an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures applicable to the imports of bicycles originating in the People’s Republic of China.

The notice of initiation was published in the Official Journal C188, published earlier today.

The EC intends to investigate injury to European bicycle companies by applying sampling, and requests Union producers who want to be included in the sample, to make themselves known to the Commission and to provide information before 28th July.

The investigation will be concluded before 13th October 2011.

No complaints were received about Vietnam so Official Journal C188 reports that the anti-dumping measures on bicycles originating in Vietnam will expire in two days’ time.
