Stephen James Cycles owner combines sports-science degree with elite racing history to serve up Cyclefit

Enfield bike shop becomes Cyclefit partner

Stephen James Cycles of Enfield has become a Cyclefit partner store, with owner James Hewitt having completed extensive training with the precision bike fitting outfit in London.

Hewitt, perhaps uniquely, combines his elite-racing history and sports-science degree with his recent high-level training at Cyclefit to provide his customers exceptional levels of service and insight.

Cyclefit Director, Phil Cavell said of the student turned master: "James’ combination of skills and experience, as well as his passion has driven him to the very top echelons of the fitting community in relatively short time. He is a real talent in our industry."

"Cyclefit Partner Stores are extensively trained by Cyclefit to the highest level in Europe. It is not just about the high-tech tools that are used – SizeCycle, Dartfish etc – but is about gaining the background knowledge in applied anatomy about how the body moves and is therefore calibrated on the bike."
