Edinburgh Bicycle wins Vuelta/Polartec comp

Well done to both shops, they will receive their silkweight Polartec Vuelta winner’s jerseys in the next few days.

Edinburgh Bicycle’s winning entry was:

"To promote Polartec and the Vuelta we’d buy in some cases of San Miguel and use these as a base, with the Vuelta jerseys cascading down from an MDF map of Spain. Next to the map we’d have bull-fight arena signs saying ‘sol’ and ‘sombre’, ie ‘sun’ and ‘shade’. This would be a reference to the sun-protection feature of the Polartec fabric. We’d also do some hand-outs referring to the SPF properties. We run a competition and as prizes would guve away the jerseys. Near the till we’d have some tapas. At the end of the promotion, we’d have the hard task of drinking the beer!"
