A number of new products will be announced at e-commerce expo 2000…

UK Business Zone Limited will be launched at the show. Michael Lyle who has been in construction all his life decided to find out what was going on in e-business by visiting e-business Expo in November – he left buzzing with ideas and within a week had raised the capital to run UK Business Zone. He realised that Trading Estates were not getting on board with e-commerce and decided to offer them a chance of affordable websites. He now has 25 people working for him and expects to have 70 sales staff by August 2000. He will launch at the show the business to business portal UKBZ, focusing on the needs of the manufacturing and associated services sector. BT eBusiness – stand 9440 will be demonstrating its Application Service Provider (ASP) services and its Supply Chain portfolio, designed to help small and large corporates alike gain tangible business benefits by internet enabling the internal processes of the organisation.

Mercury Interactive (UK) Ltd – stand number 9280 will present the first public demonstration of LoadRunner ActiveTest, a hosted Web-based load testing e-service that helps organisations optimise performance of a Web site by identifying bottlenecks and pinpointing capacity constraints.

With 24-hour turnaround, ActiveTest can stress an entire Web site infrastructure to deliver critical time-to-market advantage to E-Businesses.

Caretower – Stand 9500 announce e-pliance – a ready box product preconfigured and includes gauntlet firewall and Dr Solomon’s latest Anti Virus software AVD which incorporates new features such as the AutoImune feature and instant updates. E-pliance plugs into a server and is ready to go.

b2b-uk.com on stand 9200 are pre-launching the UK’s No 1 Business to Business Online Network. A one stop resource centre focused on the SME business sector providing advice, links and a host of other benefits. Also introducing Yee-Hah! – the first search engine totally dedicated to serving the needs of UK business.

Computer Weekly Officially launch the E Business Excellence Awards, 8th November 2000 – for more details visit their stand on 9120.

Perwill – Stand 9400 will be showing their latest enterprise product (verson 3) which provides a complete electronic commerce solution. The tools of Enterprise allow for traditional EDI and VAN’s as well as the latest innovations of XML and the internet and to merge support for these diverse technologies under one product.

CASEwise – stand 9170 will launch e*- modeler – the only process modeling tool specifically designed for creating vertically integrated e-commerce solutions, providing a sophisticated database-backed graphical environment, complete with a set of standard e-business reference models.

Within e-commerce Expo 2000 there is an Infosecurity Village – Check Point Software will be showcasing their latest edition of its integrated software for securing the internet. Other companies to visit include Cisco, DTI, ISS, & RSA.

Intermail plc on stand 9606 will show their "pink pig" internet fulfilment and "shop in the box".

Access Accounting – Stand 9300 will be doing "e-commerce financials made simple" demonstrations. They are the first company in the world to integrate remotely hosted web sites to accounts software.

3s Electronic Publishing – Stand 9660 present a major new software product that gives manufacturers and commercial sales organisations unprecedented control over the way in which they support their customers and sell their products via the Internet. See their stand for more details.

Thyron Stand 9542 the leading developer and supplier of secure transaction processing systems for e- and m-commerce will show their secure e-top up solution. It enables mobile network operators to streamline pre-pay accounts by replacing traditional vouchers, which have a distribution cost to network operators of over £500million, with an automated system.

Xpedior Launches POP to Online World on Stand 9160 – Xpedior brands the total online experience as POP commerce. Global e-Business solution providers Xpedior will demonstrate the true value of POP (Point of Presence) Commerce at the eCommerce Expo. JB International – Stand 9148 is planning a number of leading edge courses on advanced internet technologies such as XML and WML which are sure to be of interest to those companies looking at the next generation of internet applications and handheld devices.

INSL- Stand 9200 show off their involvement with WAP. They are unable to reveal details of their work with customers and suppliers, however, they have a WAP front end product to their new Nomadic Wave (TM) office and personal organiser system. This java based web organiser has been successfully port to WAP. As well as adding a new mobile interface to the product, it helps demonstrate their capabilities with this new technology.

Delano Technology – Stand 9002 will show their Delano e-Business Interaction Suite – a platform for deploying high value e-business applications that automate, personalise and manage on-going interactions between a company and its extended enterprise.
