E-bike Live 2017 a success, says EBC

Over 30 dealers attended each seminar session at the third E-bike Live event hosted by the Electric Bike Corporation.

The EBC in-house show was created as a chance for dealers to truly experience a broad range of e-bike tech and capabilities whilst hearing about the technology from key players in the industry.

E-bike specialists such as Bosch and TranzX delivered in-depth seminars for attendees, whilst a wide array of demo and display bikes were available to test and inspect.

Bosch and TranzX both conducted talks focusing on e-bike maintenance and the latest tooling technology whilst other topics included how to service and prepare e-bikes for customers. After listening to the seminars, all attendees were presented with two framed certificates ready to hang on their workshop or showroom wall.

The latest 2017 bikes from EBCO, Corratec and Pulse were on display at a conference facility next to the EBC HQ in Leamington Spa, with dealers trying out bikes with the latest batteries and motor tech on a short demo loop.

EBC managing director Paul Stanforth commented: "It’s extremely encouraging to see committed support from the largest number of dealers to attend the event so far, with some repeat visitors refreshing their accreditation and many new dealers wanting to find out more about e-bikes.

“At EBC we are committed to dealer training as we believe the knowledge and experience gained supports both the dealer and the consumer. This ethos of constant product training builds confidence in the e-bike market both with dealers and the riders."

E-bike Live will return in autumn 2017.
