Press Gazette awards Designer of the Year gong to mountain bike title

Dirt mag picks up design award

Dirt Mountainbike Magazine’s designer Jon Gregory has won the Designer of the Year title at the Press Gazette’s Magazine Design and Journalism Awards.

The awards took place on Monday (November 3rd) at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square and were hosted by TV presenter and sports journalist Clare Balding.

Dirt and Gregory were in good company, with other awards going to the likes of Wallpaper, Elle, The Sunday Times, Time Out and Esquire.

Unfortunately, Gregory could not attend the awards, as he was on deadline for the latest issue. But he offered: "I’m really happy to get the award – I’ve a great team around me here at Dirt HQ who have supported me all the way. And it makes all of the hard work worth it."
