Sports publisher seeks experienced direct marketing professional to manage

catalog, e-commerce, and direct mail efforts. Successful candidate will

analyze customer databases, develop and implement promotions, and analyze

results. Minimum of 3-4 years direct marketing experience required.

Creative Director

Award-winning sports publisher (Web, magazine, books, catalogs) seeks

seasoned magazine or newspaper designer (8+ years publishing experience a

must) to lead and manage the work of our creative team. Qualified candidate

will be responsible for the overall look and production of VeloNews

(20x/year cycling title and first sports magazine with a live Web-site in

1994 — VeloNews.com), Inside Triathlon, VeloPress (book subsidiary), Velo

Catalog (direct-marketing arm), plus associated special issues and

collateral material. Of equal importance is the creative direction for the

Company’s five Web brands. Management experience necessary, plus proficient

in Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, and html.

Book Editor

Sports publisher seeks managing editor for VeloPress. Successful candidate

will coordinate editorial activity on book projects, including trafficking

titles from manuscript to finished book and maintaining editorial/

production schedules. Must be deadline oriented and able to juggle several

projects at once. Book publishing experience essential.

VeloNews Associate Editor

Sports publisher seeks experienced writer and editor for VeloNews, the

Journal of Competitive Cycling. Successful candidate will generate stories

for the magazine, specials and Web site; have strong writing, proofing and

copy-editing skills; and have detailed knowledge and passion for cycling.

Some travel will be required. Must be strong on deadline, and able to juggle

several projects at once.
