Debut Scottish Bike Show sells out

Exhibitor space for The Scottish Bike Show has all sold out, bar one single exhibitor space, BikeBiz has been told by show organiser Magdala Media.

The show’s debut takes place this month over the weekend of April 16th and 17th at the SECC, Glasgow.

Over 45 exhibitors have confirmed for the show, and brands set to appear include Eddy Merckx, Scott, Colnago, Specialized, Giant, Trek, Fawn, Felt, Cube, Look, Cervelo, Endura, GT, Gore, Dahon, SRAM, Altura, Mongoose, We are the people, Honey Stinger and Clif Bar, among others.

The show will feature two test tracks – the tweet valley cycle track and the Tirol Austria Forest track, hosted by Bike Track people. Other show features include a huge 25 m2 Fort William World Cup screen, displaying continuous bike footage all through the weekend and the 7stanes stunt team, pulling off trial tricks and conducting masterclasses for attending children.

The BSD Forever BMX display team will be a centre feature of the show, arriving fresh from their three week tour of the US, featuring Kriss Kyle, Mike Taylor, Matt Roe, Chaz Mailey, Sean Lafferty, Niki Croft, Alex Donnachie . Dr Bike will also be on site at the entrance to the venue hosted by the bike station. All visitors will have the chance of a free bike service and tune up if they cycle to the show.
