Last weekend's exhibition tops prediction and exhibitors are 'pleased'.

Debut Bike and Tri show tops 6,000 visitors

The debut Bike and Triathlon show, held at Manchester Central at the weekend has drawn ‘just over 6,000’ visitors, according to show organisers.

Telling BikeBiz prior to the show that around 5,000 were expected to make the journey, exhibitors were unsure what to expect from the first sunny weekend in some time – would people show up, or would they be out and about on bikes?

Mark Almond, the show’s marketing man, told BikeBiz: "We have had universally positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors alike and many plans afoot for making it even bigger and better for 2014."

The 2014 dates have been set for March 8th-9th at the same Manchester venue.

BikeBiz will have full coverage from the show in the March magazine.
